The Contribution of Sailotech for the ‘Save the Young Heart – 5K Run’ Campaign

Today there has been an upsurge in the occurrence of heart disease in the youth owing to an unhealthy lifestyle, causing sudden cardiac death or leading to serious heart injuries which debilitate the rest of the patients’ life. In order to create an awareness in the youth about this condition which leads to sudden death, a campaign was organized in the name ‘Save the Young Heart – 5K Run’ in the Gachibowli stadium on 29/9/2019 between 6.00 am and 10 am.

As one of the esteemed sponsors, Sailotech received the golden opportunity to be part of this noble cause. A ‘Save the Young Heart’ app which was developed by the Sailotech team was also launched during this occasion to support this cause. We were part and parcel of this event right from the inauguration until the very end where there was a distribution of medals, bib, and t-shirts, followed by refreshments.

The Sailotech team deserves special mention for VIP welcome and stage management, which they did in the most organized manner.

Sailotech had been an active partner in this campaign for the past two years. We are proud to observe that more than 2700 runners from the IT world contributed their part to this cause by taking part in the same.
